Damn, dude. This is amazing piece of art, I also like to do backgrounds and yours inspire me to draw more. How did you find inspiration to do it this way? I mean, the river and mountains.

I tend to take inspiration from the backgrounds of Battle for BFDI, by jacknjellify, since they're simple yet aesthetically pleasing.

I never understood why his mouth was covered in that flash, but looks great! I like the colors too, not too flashy for the eyes

Thanks,JuanHelsing,Deimos in that flash was hit with a big rock and for some reason fused with it and now many parts of his body are rocks like his hands,feet,chest and mouth and now he can't speak and smoke,idk if that information helps you to understand XD

[Roses and Thorns, a Concept]

This just feels like DDLC and Monika. You know, he knows about an “outside world” because of the spirit. And your depiction of him having feelings and being tortured is amazing and maybe it could be implement later in the full game.

Also, really nice drawings! I love how you do it with the watercolors and how much effort you put into it:)
